SkioSMS - New and Improved 💬

Limit Next Billing Date For Subs

Letting your customers change their next billing date gives them the flexibility to adjust their subscription without needing to cancel. That being said, some customers may push it too far, which isn’t great since their subscription may not process in a window you’re comfortable with. 

 Well, good news! You can now adjust how many days in the future a customer can push their subscription! Simply navigate to your Customer Portal > Portal Settings, and insert how many days into the future a customer can set their next billing date.

Quality of Life Updates 🌞 
Updating Product Price (Automation & Bulk Ops)

Previously, you had the power to set a new static price within the Automations and Bulk Ops feature (ex: after checkout, make Espresso $15).

Now you have two new price update solutions at your fingertips: Percentage off, and Fixed amount off. This is particularly useful if you frequently change the prices of your Shopify products.

Price: Let’s you set a fixed price
Percentage off: The percentage off the product price (not subscription price).
Fixed amount off: Takes a fixed amount off the product price (not subscription price). If using Shopify Markets, the fixed amount is discounted from the price in the Site currency and then dynamically converted.

Billing Page
In case your Finance team isn’t reading this newsletter, make sure to flag this to them! You can now view past invoices, update your payment method on file and billing information, and see the upcoming invoice amount. This is available under Account > Invoicing > Manage Billing.

Dynamic Build-A-Box: Different Currencies
Expand the reach of your Dynamic BABs by setting different currencies for them. Originally, they were restricted to your store’s currency, limiting expansion for your BABs. Now you can reach the right market, with the right currency/price.

N.B.: (1) This feature works best with percentage-based discount boxes. (2) You need to create individual boxes for each respective currency domain. This is not a dynamic currency solution based on the customer IP.

Selling Plan Sorting
Great news! You can now drag and drop the selling plans (within the selling plan group) in the order you want!

Why is this exciting? Because now if you create a new frequency that you want listed at the top of the plan picker, you can easily do it without needing to delete and recreate the selling plans.

Mute Notification For Canceling Subscription

Have you ever wanted to cancel a customer’s subscription without triggering the “Cancelled Subscription” notification? Well now you can! Within the Skio dashboard, on the cancellation page, there’s a checkbox in case you wish to suppress it.
