Important Announcement
Skio App Update
On Wednesday, July 10th, an update to the Skio application will need to be approved by a store owner or someone with the permissions to update applications. This update will allow Skio to continue to provide new features and capabilities as Shopify opens more features and API access. We are excited to continue to share product improvements over the coming months from this application update.
New Features
Back In Stock (Open Beta - Klaviyo Only)
Managing inventory can sometimes be a headache. If you run out of stock (depending on your inventory settings), customers can receive an Out Of Stock (OOS) notification, miss out on products they wanted, and ultimately this means lost revenue for you… not great.
With that said, we’re proud to announce our new open beta to help tackle this issue: Back In Stock Notification with its own Quick Action. Let us elaborate!
When an OOS product comes back in stock, this can trigger a Klaviyo event to notify customers that the product is back in stock.

In addition, we introduced a Quick Action so the item that was missed can be purchased as a one-time product from this notification. This ensures customers can still get the product they want without needing to mess with their subscription cadence.

Allow individual variants to be upsell eligible
Previously, if you wanted to upsell a product in your customer portal, all the variants were included. Understandably this wasn’t ideal in case you only wanted specific variants to be upsellable. This is why we’ve built the ability to limit upsell eligible products by variant.
Capabilities include:
Customize Upsell Offers: Select specific variants of a product to be eligible for upsell, tailoring your upsell strategies to better meet customer preferences and increase conversion rates.
Improve Customer Experience: Hide variants that are not suitable for upsell, ensuring that customers see the most relevant and appealing options in the upsell carousel.
Streamline Management: Easily manage upsell eligibility at the variant level directly from your product settings.
To use this feature, simply navigate to the product details page and mark the desired variants as upsell eligible.

Changelog history in the Admin 📄
Sometimes it’s easy to miss the latest and greatest Skio has to offer. This is why we’re adding our Changelog to your admin. Simply click on the little alert button in the top right, and voila! You can now see the latest changes.

Product filtering in the Forecasting & Cohort Retention dashboards
Understanding your data at a product level can be extremely valuable for many reasons. This is why we’ve added product filtering in the Forecast, and Cohort dashboards.Now you can get a more granular understanding of forecasted revenue, and quantity by product, as well as understanding their overall retention.
Support custom profile properties for Sendlane integration
Our Sendlane integration just got a huge upgrade: It can now support custom profile properties. Information stored at the customer lever, rather than simply the event level, can be used within your notifications, allowing for more robust and tailored engagement.
Delete payment method
Sometimes customers may have extra payment methods for their subscriptions that they’d like removed. We’re here to tell you that it can now be done within Skio! Navigate to the customer’s subscription > Click “Manage” > “Update Payment” > Select the card that’s no longer being used > Delete.
